Welcome to Bent Lenses
Bent Lenses was established to fill the void of queer and alternative cinema available in the Canberra region. We hold regular screenings at the Canberra Museum & Gallery in Civic and host BentFest (formerly the Capital Queer Film Festival) annually in November.
Bent Lenses is a non-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers.

Hot Pink Shorts 2006 Winners
Bent Lenses would like to congratulate this year's winners of our annual Hot Pink Shorts competition:
Prodigal Son took the main prize - selected by our judges: Andrew Barr and Sonia Gherdevich.
About Personality won the audience favourite award.
BentFest 2007
BentFest (formerly the Capital Queer Film Festival) is held annually in November/December as part of the Canberra SpringOut festival.
One of the most popular aspects of the festival is our short-film competition, Hot Pink Shorts.
